An aside...new yard guy

Since my yard worker of many years went back to his country, I had to find someone else to weed those horrible plants that are encroaching on the house.  I called a new guy, but we had some communication problems re the address.  Then he asked if I had a cell phone and suggested that I text him my address.  I of course had a panic feeling given the new phone, which he picked up on and laughed.  I'm used to the workers out here having cell phones, but somehow it struck me funny re the texting.  I must say things have really changed: texting your yard worker when you need to communicate.  We are indeed in a new era.
